PRODUCTION NOTES

How do you perform a misogynist play after feminism? Shakespeare's comedy of wife beating raises a lot of issues - but does it give any answers? This production will show just how Shakespeare tries to give the women's viewpoint on marriage - even if it is explained by a boy in drag!
