PRODUCTION NOTES
The Empty Chair
by Lindy Henny
The Empty Chair begins mid-way through a therapy session. There are eight chairs, seven are occupied. The group are seated, only Celia is missing.
Therapist Zoe and the group members have many issues with their outside relationships - these resonate within the group's relationships.
Tension mounts and tempers frey as they focus on the missing Celia, and who or what she represents to them.
Characters in The Empty Chair are not based on any person alive or deceased.
Body Anonymous
by Michael Hubbard
There's a body and it's not moving.
The verdict is suicide. But here was somebody with friends and a life. Why did he do it?
Unravelling backwards, we are drawn in to Mark Mitford's uniquely anonymous story of disintegration.
Sid & Nancy
by Claire Simpson
Meet Sid and Nancy. High school sweethearts who followed their fate towards long-term coupledom. But as we follow their journey from teenage punks to downtrodden thirtysomethings suffering from premature mid-life crises, can their relationship survive beyond the first dance at their overdue wedding?
This short comedy/drama is a look at how being in love is not always enough and how long-forgotten secrets never really die.
